Daniele Grasso
Founder, Managing director
Daniele is a civil engineer who graduated from the Polytechnic School of Turin. He specialised in real estate development at the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) of Lyon and at the University of Geneva.
Over the course of 20 years of experience, Daniele built a solid background in the real estate and construction sectors. He began his career at the Bouygues Construction Group in the Paris region, before joining its Swiss subsidiary Losinger as Development Manager for major commercial projects in the cantons of Vaud and Ticino. He later headed the division dedicated to the development and management of complex real estate projects for private and public clients within the CBRE Group in French-speaking Switzerland.
In 2017, he founded Altana Consulting SA, an independent real estate consulting and project management firm, with the ambition of offering a strategic, integrated, and locally rooted approach to real estate development.
Daniele is also a member of the board of the Fondation HBM Emile Dupont, a public real estate foundation in Geneva committed to the construction, renovation, and management of affordable housing for low-income households.
Damien Varesano
Project Director
A civil engineer with a degree from a Swiss University of Applied Sciences (HES) and a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Geneva, Damien Varesano has worked for more than ten years in construction and sustainable spatial planning in Geneva, on both the consultant and the client side.
His career combines applied research in building energy performance at hepia, client-side project support (AMO) for participatory housing projects and advisory work for public authorities, followed by four years at ATBA Architecture + Energie focusing on material reuse and energy expertise.
He joined Altana Consulting in 2026, bringing specific expertise in energy performance, building physics, low-carbon construction and reuse.
Diego Florez
Project Diector
Holder of a Master of Science HES-SO in Engineering, Diego Florez began his career at edms SA in Geneva, where he specialised in the design and management of complex projects, including high-performance new buildings, rooftop extensions and large-scale urban renovations. During this time, he developed strong expertise in structural engineering, technical management, and site coordination.
Wishing to broaden his understanding of the economic and decision-making mechanisms of real estate, he is currently completing a Master’s degree at the Institut d’Études Immobilières (IEI) in Geneva, focusing on real estate development, investment strategy, and asset management.
At Altana Consulting SA, Diego combines his technical and real estate expertise to support projects in development, general planning, client advisory, and operational management, applying a rigorous and value-driven approach throughout each stage of the process.
Raoul Dufouleur
Project Director
A graduate of the École Spéciale des Travaux Publics (ESTP) in Paris and the Technical University of Dresden, Raoul Dufouleur began his career at Eurovia, a subsidiary of the Vinci group in the Paris region, where he learned about the demands of infrastructure projects and rigorous construction management methods. There, he developed solid operational expertise in civil engineering and site management.
He then joined Edifea SA in Geneva as a site manager, responsible for overseeing housing projects, coordinating contractors, and ensuring adherence to budget and deadlines. He subsequently moved to Implenia SA as a structural engineer in the renovation and conversion department, working on complex projects in occupied buildings, subject to demanding technical and phasing constraints.
At Altana Consulting SA, he works on projects with high technical and organizational complexity, overseeing the execution phases, coordinating companies, and managing critical interfaces. His experience on construction sites and in constrained environments allows him to anticipate risks and ensure the successful completion of operations.
Jessica-Lou Shepherd
Consultant
A graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from EHL Hospitality Business School, Jessica-Lou Shepherd is currently completing a Master of Science in Real Estate at Hochschule Luzern, specializing in financial analysis, asset management and real estate development.
Her background combines a deep understanding of the operational mechanisms of the hotel industry and the financial fundamentals of real estate. She has notably conducted market research and strategic analyses in the hotel sector, developing a structured approach to asset valuation and project positioning.
At Altana Consulting SA, she works on financial analysis, market research, and real estate planning projects. She brings specific expertise to hotel operations, integrating operational performance, economic viability, and strategic coherence considerations.
